We are Nick & Liz Stevenson, a brother-sister team of theatre makers from Chorley. Since our beginnings at Chorley Youth Theatre, we have both been working in the arts. Now we want to make exciting and bespoke theatre experiences that are rooted in the town we grew up in.

We believe everyone should have access to the arts. Theatre has a unique way of bringing the community together to celebrate our shared experiences and our unique differences. We want to:

  • Bring innovative professional theatre productions to Chorley

  • Create unique and unforgettable live experiences in different spaces around the borough that challenge perceptions of what theatre can be

  • Involve the community in our process of making theatre in a variety of different ways

  • Provide training, experiences and a friendly ear for local people who are considering working in theatre

  • Celebrate and nurture talent in Chorley

  • Contribute to the existing cultural scene in Chorley and to help promote it as a cultural destination

  • Collaborate with other organisations in Lancashire to provide high-quality, home-grown theatre for audiences in the North West

  • Share our work with companies and audiences nationally

We are really proud of our first production, Under the Market Roof by Becky Prestwich, which took place on the much-loved Chorley market in October 2017.

We are thrilled to be an Associate Company of The Dukes in Lancaster.
